To reserve your place in the Teacher Alternative Certification Program at Tarleton State University, students must submit the required application and access fees to complete enrollment.

Program installment payments will begin on September 1st; however, students may make payments toward their balance before that date if they choose. All balances must be paid in full no later than one month prior to program completion.

Required Fees

  • Application Fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Access Fee: $300 (non-refundable)
  • Program Fee: $4,700

Why are these fees required?

  • Confirms your commitment to participate in the program.
  • Covers your TEA technology fee.

Payment Information

  • Deadline: Refer to the email sent to your Tarleton student email.
  • Payment Method: Submit payment through Tarleton Marketplace by selecting the Teacher Alternative Certification Payment option.


Important Information

  • Space in the program is limited.
  • Only the application and access fees are required prior to starting the program.
  • The remaining balance will be divided into 8 monthly installments.
  • Installment payments begin September 1st.
  • Students may make payments early if desired.
  • Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in forfeiture of participation.
