Private/External Scholarship Payments Now Accepted Online

Tarleton State University now accepts online credit card payments for private and external scholarships through the Tarleton Marketplace. Scholarship funds will be applied directly to student accounts based on the information provided.

Important Information for Donors

• Student Eligibility Requirements:
  It is the donor’s responsibility to ensure that all GPA and enrollment requirements are met. Students may request enrollment verification or transcripts through the Registrar’s Office or via their MyGateway portal.
• Comments or Special Instructions:
  We will make every effort to accommodate any specific instructions or requests noted with the payment.
• Receipts:
  A payment receipt will be automatically sent to the email address provided at checkout.
  Please note: Tarleton no longer issues paper receipts for online scholarship payments.
• Multiple Recipients:
  For multiple scholarship recipients, please include each student’s full name, student ID, and designated scholarship amount separately.
• Student Non-Enrollment or Withdrawal:
  If a student does not enroll or withdraws during the refund period, scholarship funds must be returned to the donor.
  A W-9 form will be required to process any refund for private or external scholarships.
