Living Witness: Historic Trees of Texas

Biography: For the last five years, Ralph Yznaga have been traversing Texas, capturing historic trees with vintage cameras. His goal is to preserve the amazing stories of these trees and the people connected with them. The result is a new book, "Living Witness: Historic Trees of Texas." (2012, Texas A&M University Press) it's a collection of our most historic trees and their stories. The book includes a map and driving directions to each tree. Ralph has worked in advertising both in New York and Austin, TX and has created national and international campaigns for many brands. He is currently the Executive Creative Director at MOSAK Advertisings & Insights in Austin.
